Caradoc Medical Services
The Caradoc Medical Services Buying Consortium was started in May 2009 by Shropdoc , an Out of Hours GP Co-Operative "Not for Profit" organisation.
The consortium has been set up to maximise the buying power of the group and help members maximise profitability through enhanced buying terms and money savings ideas, as well as providing members with an inactive trade services directory and promoting various staff benefits to the staff the practices employ.
Unlike other consortiums there is No Membership or Annual Fees. The concept is based on a true co-operative with benefits being passed back to its members. Membership is now being extended via Urgent Health UK, a social enterprise group made up of 10 Out Of Hours organisations who represent over 1000 GP practices and 30,000 members of staff.
